# Salesforce Integration Overview

### **1. Use Cases**

- Creating leads in Salesforce from scheduled events in Spir.

- Searching for leads in Salesforce from scheduled events in Spir, creating activity histories if leads exist, and creating leads and activity histories if they don't.

These are some possible examples.

### **2. Example Setup with Zapier**

- The following example outlines the setup for performing "Searching for leads in Salesforce from scheduled events in Spir, creating activity histories if leads exist, and creating leads and activity histories if they don't."

- Steps 1 through 4 entail the following setup procedures.

- In Step 5, select "Find Record in Salesforce" within Zapier to establish a workflow of finding leads or creating them if not found.
